Emma: I love classical music because my grandmother taught me to play the piano. I enjoy music that follows traditional forms and rules.

David: I play the guitar, but sometimes I stop for months and then start again. I don’t always practise regularly.

Sofia: I started learning the violin when I was six, but I wasn’t very good at it. My second try, with the flute, went much better.

Leo: I like being in the school band because I can play both the drums and the trumpet. Playing more than one instrument is exciting!

Hannah: I always wanted to be part of an orchestra. When I first heard one at school, I knew it was the right thing for me.
